1. The service

StoreGuard is a monitoring application for Shopify stores. It observes catalog data (products, prices, inventory, publication, collections) and raises alerts when it detects potentially harmful changes. StoreGuard is read-only: it never modifies your store’s data.

2. No guarantee of detection

StoreGuard helps detect potential commerce integrity issues but cannot guarantee detection of every error or prevention of revenue loss. Detection depends on data Shopify makes available, webhook delivery, scan schedules, and the rules you configure. Revenue figures shown in StoreGuard are estimates for prioritization, not statements of actual loss.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Shopify’s App Pricing system and appear on your Shopify invoice. There are no free trials — the Free plan is the evaluation path. You can change or cancel plans any time from Shopify’s plan page (opened from the app’s Billing page). Prices may change with reasonable prior notice.

4. Acceptable use

You may use StoreGuard only for stores you are authorized to manage. You may not attempt to access another merchant’s data, reverse engineer the service, or use it in violation of applicable law or Shopify’s terms.

5. Data

Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the app stops monitoring immediately and triggers deletion according to Shopify’s requirements.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoreGuard’s aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim. StoreGuard is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost revenue or lost profits.
